Ordering, delivery, payments, and joining as a florist. If your question is not here, one email reaches a person who can answer it.
Ordering, delivery, and payments: everything you need to know about commissioning a local florist.
How sending flowers works, from occasion to budget.
It takes three simple steps. Choose the occasion you’re celebrating, set a budget that feels right, and tell us where to deliver. We send your order to local florists near the destination, and the first to accept creates your arrangement.
Rather than picking from a fixed catalog, you trust a local artisan to design something beautiful within your budget. Florists use their creative judgment, the freshest stems on hand, and the sentiment of your occasion to hand-arrange a one-of-a-kind bouquet.
No. This isn’t a traditional flower website built around endless menus, stock photographs, SKU numbers, or catalogue products. You’re not buying a picture: you’re commissioning a creative florist. Simply tell us the occasion, choose your budget, and a local florist creates something beautiful using their own experience and the freshest flowers available.
Budgets run from a single rose at $30 up to $295 for something grand. Every budget already includes delivery and applicable sales tax, so the price you choose is the price you pay. Pick the amount you’re comfortable with: the florist designs the fullest, most beautiful arrangement possible at that price.
Yes. You can add a written note, and in many cases a photo or short video message, which we pass along to the florist to include with your delivery. Please don’t include sensitive or confidential information.
Timing, seasonality, and how arrangements may vary.
Delivery time windows are estimates provided by the delivering florist, who will make reasonable efforts to deliver on your requested date. We can’t guarantee exact timing for delays caused by weather, traffic, or events beyond anyone’s control.
Flowers are a natural product, so exact replication isn’t guaranteed. Your florist may substitute stems or containers of equal or greater value while keeping the overall style, color, and sentiment of the arrangement intact.
Availability shifts with the season and the daily flower market. Substitutions let your florist use the freshest, most beautiful materials available that day rather than settling for tired stems just to match a picture.
Secure checkout, our flat fee, and resolving issues.
The budget you choose is the price you pay: it already includes delivery and applicable sales tax, both covered by the fulfilling florist. There are no hidden markups or service charges stacked on top at checkout.
No. Delivery and any applicable sales tax are built into the budget you select and are handled by the florist who fulfils your order. What you see when you pick your budget is the full amount.
Yes. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, which is PCI compliant and manages the payment infrastructure. We never store your card details.
Please contact the delivering florist first: they create and deliver every arrangement and are best placed to make it right. Refunds or resends are handled at the florist’s discretion. We’re glad to help facilitate a resolution where we can.
Activating your account, the sending fee, Exchange cashback, and how you get paid.
What we ask of you, and how to activate your account.
In most cases we’ve already pre-populated a record for your shop. Your part is simple: verify your details, connect a bank account, and start receiving payment. It’s less about “listing a business” and more about activating your account so you can get paid.
Getting started takes just a few minutes. Confirm the details on your shop record, connect your payouts through Stripe, and you’ll begin receiving local orders to accept and create.
Most florists are ready to receive orders within minutes. There’s no lengthy application: verify your information, connect your bank, and you’re live.
The sending fee, Exchange cashback, and how you get paid.
Minimal cost: we handle the rest. On public orders the customer pays a $1.50 sending fee, not you. You receive the full arrangement price with nothing deducted, and delivery and sales tax come out of that price. No subscriptions, no monthly fees, no membership dues.
When one florist sends an order to another through the Exchange, $1.50 is credited to the sending florist’s cashback account: reinvested directly in the florists who power the exchange. Cashback applies to florist-to-florist orders, not to orders placed by the public.
No. There are no subscriptions, monthly fees, or membership costs. You simply receive orders from customers nearby and keep doing what you do best.
Payouts are handled through Stripe Connect directly to your connected bank account. Customers pay the full total at checkout, Stripe processing fees apply, and the remaining funds are paid to you. You’re responsible for any applicable sales tax in your jurisdiction.
